CHAMSA is committed to renewing itself as a major unified Chamber of Commerce - with a large and wide-reaching membership.

It aims to provide meaningful services and communication geared at substantially unifying black and white business chambers into one voice of business in order to:

• Strengthen policy advocacy on behalf of the whole business community.
• Improve membership services.
• Facilitate networking between black and white businesses.
• Facilitate networking between corporate and SMMEs.
• Promote black economic empowerment and economic growth for the benefit of the whole South African business community.

CHAMSA will rely heavily on the existing intellectual property, skills, membership base and operational reach of its constituent members, where they will work in tandem to pool those resources to the benefit of CHAMSA in entrenching its own standing and relevance.

This will put CHAMSA aims to advocate on behalf of the whole business community certain issues vital to the competitiveness of its members as well as entrench its sustainability as a truly representative business organisation.

As such, CHAMSA is planning for the improvement of the business environment and opportunities for its member companies through:

• Policy proposals on legislative matters enabling the business environment.
• Establishing a business linkage programme facilitating co-operation and business opportunities between corporates and SMMEs.
• Arranging trade affairs of relevance.
• Establishing an enterprise development programme.
• Improving training services of constituent members.
